She completed B.E.(Chemical)in the year 1997 and M.E.(Chemical) in the year 2000.


She has presented 4 papers in National and International conferences.Presently she is persuing her research in the Chemical Engineering Department of National Institute of Technology,Trichy(NITT) under the guidence of Dr.Meera S.Begum,Asst.Professor in Chemical Engineering,NITT.

Their research is in the area of Foam separation, a separtion operation old in principle but new in application. This technique is useful for the separation of proteins, heavy metal ions, compounds etc. from dilute aqueous solutions.
